Sypha are a Brighton-based metal band fusing atmospheric intensity with hard-hitting riffs and melodic hooks. Formed in 2022, the lineup features Alicia Pilling (vocals), Alfred Atkins (guitar), Will Cheesman (bass), and James Anthony (drums). Their debut EP Borderland (2025) blends elements of modern metalcore, alt-metal, and classic heavy rock, drawing influence from bands like Halestorm, Bring Me the Horizon, and Deftones. With fierce vocals and high-energy shows, Sypha are quickly becoming a standout force in the UK metal scene.
